In 1975, John Pappas came to the United States from his hometown of Tragano, Greece, with only a couple of dollars in his pocket. While working in restaurants to make ends meet, he slowly discovered a passion for cooking.
Using family recipes handed down from generation to generation, his Mediterranean cuisine quickly became popular. Now many of John’s authentic recipes have become famous, including the award winning “Pappas Greek Dressing!”
